www.isgeoffdrinking.com is the first web app I made! It's an entertainment app that lets friends know if I am out on the town having a beer, and where. The server-side code is hand-rolled PHP that provides mySQL database integration and image storage, as well as a system cron task that changes the app state back to 'No' if I don't update it for over 2 hours. The app leverages the mobile phone's GPS to determine location. The app uses the Facebook JavaScript SDK to update my Facebook page via the associated Facebook app. The site uses the Google Maps API to create the map. The rest of the site is client-side JavaScript, HTML and CSS.

Card Signatures

This project was a signature capture and persistence web application using the jQuery plug-in Signature Pad by Thomas J. Bradley, and the cloud database service Parse. Users could visit the page and sign the card using their iPad. The signatures were later used in a company mission statement. This as a freelance project for the SYPartners advertising agency in San Francisco, California.

Ad Mappr

Ad Mappr uses the Google Analytics API to retrieve data for Facebook ads, then maps the ad impressions onto a Google Map. Multiple ads can be mapped simultaneously in dots mode, or a heatmaps can be generated for individual ads.

Test Reporter

Test Reporter is a single-page application based on the Ember framework. Data is provided via Ember Data and a static server endpoint written in PHP. The server reads PHPUnit test result files from the local filesystem, parses them, and returns JSON data to the application. The results are then displayed in a responsive clickable table.

Portland Code School Capstone Project

Beerify is a crowd-sourced single point of information about what beers are on tap at any given moment in Portland. This project was the small group capstone for the Full-Stack JavaScript class at Portland Code School. The main application is built on Backbone.js, and the web server is built on the Express framework running on Node.js. Data persistence is provided by the database-as-a-service Orchestrate.
